Student's Welfare Committee
The Students’ Welfare Committee is important in a medical college because it protects and supports students’ well-being. It helps students deal with academic stress, mental health issues, and personal problems. The committee also acts as a link between students and the college administration to solve problems related to studies, hostel, or campus life.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Safeguard the overall academic, mental, and social well-being of students.
  • Address student grievances related to academics, financial hardship, stress, harassment, or campus facilities
  • Facilitate counseling, mentorship, and career guidance programs.
  • Identify students in need of special assistance and recommend appropriate support.
  • Coordinate welfare activities, extracurricular engagement, and student development initiatives.
  • Maintain confidentiality in handling student concerns.
  • Submit periodic reports and recommendations to the college administration
