The Students’ Welfare Committee is important in a medical college because it protects and supports students’ well-being. Roles and Responsibilities
Safeguard the overall academic, mental, and social well-being of students.
Address student grievances related to academics, financial hardship, stress, harassment, or campus facilities
Facilitate counseling, mentorship, and career guidance programs.
Identify students in need of special assistance and recommend appropriate support.
Coordinate welfare activities, extracurricular engagement, and student development initiatives.
Maintain confidentiality in handling student concerns.
Submit periodic reports and recommendations to the college administration
