He is serving in teaching posts in various capacities in different medical colleges for 18 years. He joined Popular Medical College in 2011 as Associate Professor. He is former President of Bangladesh Society of Medicine and Founder Governor of ACP, Bangladesh Chapter. He received the fellowship from American College of Physicians in 2004, Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2007, Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh in 2008, Mastership of American College of Physicians in 2018 and Fellowship from Royal College of London 2020. He also served as Regional Technical Adviser in SEARO, WHO for Dengue. He is the Executive Member from Asia for International Society of Internal Medicine (ISIM) 2018-2026. He is the Overseas Regional Adviser of Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, UK. He was the member of National Technical Advisory Committee for COVID-19. Dr. Islam is also serving as Federation Lead for Federation of Royal Colleges for PACES examination of MRCP at Bangladesh. He is also a PACES examiner. He is serving as consultant for NCDC from ADB for 5th HPNSP. He is also a member of International Advisory Board for Davidson’s Principles and Practice of Medicine 24th edition 2022.

H.A.M Nazmul Ahasan obtained MBBS in 1982 and FCPS (Internal Medicine) in 1988. He received fellowships (FRCP) from Royal College of Physicians of Glasgow, Edinburgh and London in 2001, 2005 and 2021 respectively. He received Fellowship (FACP) from American College of Physicians in 2003. He has been honored with Mastership of American Pr College of Physicians (MACP) in 2016. Currently, HAM NAZMUL AHASAN is Professor of Medicine of Popular Medical College, Dhaka. Prior to this, he served as Professor and Head of the Departments of Medicine of Dhaka Medical College (2009-2015) and Khulna Medical Colleges (2003- 2007). He is the Chairman, Faculty of Medicine (2023-2025), Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS). Previously he also served as the Chairman of Faculty of Family Medicine (2019-2020) and Faculty of Medicine (2015-2018) of BCPS. He is author and co-author of 244 articles published in national and international journals. He guided 46 students in writing Theses /dissertations. He has immense interest in research on Infectious, respiratory diseases and clinical toxicology. Currently Prof. Ahasan is the Chairman of the Editorial Board the Journal of Medicine (JOM), (2023-2025), an official Journal of Bangladesh Society of Medicine (BSM). He has been Editor in chief of the prestigious Journal of Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons, JBCPS (2012-15) and journal of Medicine for (2007-2015). He also contributed in formulating the National guidelines for the diagnosis & management of Dengue, Influenza, H1 N1, COVID-19 and Mucor mycosis. He is immediate past Elected Governor, Bangladesh chapter of American College of Physicians (2018-2022). He was president of Bangladesh Society of Medicine (2013-14) and also, served as the Chairman, Scientific committee, Bangladesh Society of Medicine (2016-18). He was one of the Members of, Bangladesh Pharmacy Council (2018-19). Presently, he is a member of Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC). Bangladesh Academy of science has awarded him with the prestigious 'Sultan Ahmed Chawdhury' Gold Medal (2003) for his contribution in the field of medical education and research. He also received “N Islam memorial gold medal” (2016) from Bangladesh Society of Medicine (BSM) and Association of Physicians (APB) (2021) for his contribution in the field of Internal medicine. He has been awarded with “Sakura Award” (2022-2023) by the American College of Physicians (ACP) Japan Chapter for his contributions to the development and invigoration of the ACP Japan Chapter.

He obtained his MBBS in 1996, MD Cardiology in 2008. Prior to joining here he was serving as Assistant Professor and Junior Consultant of Cardiology in different Institute for13 years. In addition to undergraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs. He has 18 publications in National Medical Journals.

He obtained his MBBS in 1976, FCPS in 1987, FRCS (Glasgow) in 2011 and FRCS (Ireland) in 2016. He also obtained FICS in 1998 and FACS in 2002. He is serving in the teaching posts in various capacities in different medical colleges for 38 years. Prior to joining in this institute Prof. Rahman was serving as Prof. of Surgery in Dhaka Medical College. In addition to undergraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs, he is actively involved with postgraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs of BCPS and Universities. He was President of SLSB and Vice President of SOSB. He has 40 publications in different National and International Medical Journals.

In addition to undergraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs, he is actively involved with postgraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs of BCPS and Universities. He also served as Vice-principal, Dhaka Medical College and Dean, Faculty of Postgraduate Medical Science and Research, Dhaka University. He has 43 publications in different Medical Journals. Currently he is honorary chairperson of Medical Education of Popular Medical College. He served as Chairperson Faculty of Surgery, BCPS for long time. Presently he is serving as chairperson, curriculum development BCPS.

Prior to joining this institute he was serving as the Professor and Head of the Department of Surgery, Sher-E-Bangla Medical College, Barisal. Previously he served as Professor of Surgery and the Vice- Principal of Sir Salimullah Medical College, Dhaka. In addition to undergraduate teaching, learning and assessment program, he is actively involved with postgraduate teaching, learning and assessment program of BCPS & Universities. He has 20 publications in different National and International Medical Journals.

He obtained his MBBS in 2003 and FCPS in 2012. He has been serving in the department of Plastic Surgery at Popular Medical College for last 10 years. Prior to joining in this institute, Dr. Iftekhar Ibne Mannan was serving as Registrar of Plastic Surgery in Bangladesh Institute of Health Sciences.    In addition to undergraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs, he is actively involved with postgraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs of BCPS. He has 13 publications in different National and International Medical Journals.

She obtained her MBBS in 2008, MRCS in 2016 and FCPS in 2017. She is also competent in medical ultrasonography and performed a course in medical statistics. Prior joining in this institute she was serving as Assistant Professor of Urology in East-West Medical College and Hospital. She has 04 publications in different National Medical Journals. Apart from this, she presented papers in different international conferences and was awarded as Young Urologist fellow 2019 by Urological association of Asia and also awarded ‘Best Discussant’ in youth section by UAA.

He worked in teaching posts in different medical colleges for about 13 years. Prior to joining this institute, Dr. Mahamud Riyad was serving as Associate Professor of Surgery in Add-in Medical College. In addition to undergraduate teaching and assessment programs, he is actively involved with postgraduate teaching and assessment programs of BCPS. He has 07 publications in different National and International Medical Journals.

He obtained his MBBS in 1976, D-ortho in 1980 and M.S. in 1986. He is serving in the teaching posts in various capacities in different medical colleges and postgraduate Institute for 38 years. In addition to undergraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs, he is actively involved with postgraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs of BCPS and Universities. He also served as Director, National Institute of Trauma and Orthopaedic Research and retired from there. He has 19 publications in different National Medical Journals. He has obtained honorary FCPS (Orthopaedics) in 2015.

He obtained his MBBS in 1983 and MS in 1994. He is serving in the teaching posts in various capacities in different medical colleges and postgraduate institutes for about 30 years. Prior to joining in this institute he was serving as Professor & Head of Orthopaedics Surgery in Dhaka Medical College. In addition to undergraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs, he is actively involved with postgraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs of Universities and BCPS. He has 15 publications in Different National Medical Journals.

He obtained his MBBS in 2001, D-Ortho from NITOR in 2012 and FCPS (Surgery) in 2021. He has also completed Fellowship in Paediatric Orthopaedics from paediatric Orthopaedic Society of Bangladesh(POSB) in 2018.He served as Registrar of Orthopaedics in Popular Medical College for 8 years prior to joining in this post. He has 10 publications in different National Medical Journals.

She obtained her MBBS in 1992 and M Phil in 1999. She served in the teaching post in various capacities at Holy Family Red Crescent Medical College for 17 years. She has joined as Professor at Popular Medical College in March 2023. She has 10 publications in different National and International Medical Journals.

He obtained his MBBS in 1983 & FCPS in 1991. He has been serving in the teaching posts in various capacities in different medical colleges and postgraduate institute for about 24 years. Prior to joining in this medical college, Prof. Haque was serving as Professor & Head of Ophthalmology department in Sher-e-Bangla medical College, Barisal. In addition to undergraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs, he is actively involved with postgraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs of BCPS & univarsities. He has 30 publications in different national & international medical journals. Prof. Haque was awarded Gold Medal by the Ophthalmological Society of Bangladesh in 1993.

She obtained her MBBS in 2003, Diploma in 2006 and FCPS in 2013. She worked in teaching posts at different Medical Colleges and postgraduate institute for last 12 years. Prior to joining in this institute, Dr. Farhana Hossain was serving as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology in Green Life Medical College. In addition to undergraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs, she is actively involved with postgraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs of BCPS. She has 13 publications in different National Medical Journals. She is a fellow of international council of Ophthalmology

He obtained his MBBS in 1980 and FCPS in 1988. He has been serving in the teaching posts with different capacities of different Medical colleges and post graduate institutions for about 37 years. In addition he also served in administrative posts as Principal of a Medical College and founder Director & Project Director of National Institute of ENT. As National Focal point for prevention of deafness he developed National Strategy Document "Sound Hearing 2030" as part of a regional program (SEARO) which is under the process of implementation in Bangladesh. As a pioneer he started cochlear implant program in Bangladesh in 2006. In addition to undergraduate teaching learning and assessment program he is actively involved with postgraduate teaching learning and assessment programs of BCPS and Universities. He also took part in undergraduate and postgraduate assessment programs of Tribubhan University Nepal and post graduate assessment program of CPSP of Pakistan. He has 35 publications in different Medical Journals. 

He obtained his MBBS in 1984, FCPS in 1992 and obtained fellowship in ENT from international college of surgeon USA (FICS) in 1998. During his 28 years long teaching experiences he served in different medical college of Bangladesh. Prior to joining at Popular Medical College, he retired from Shahid Suhrawardy Medical College as Professor & Head of the Department of ENT & HNS. He successfully organized consecutive twelve live national Head-Neck surgery workshop as Chairman in Dhaka & he is also the founder president of society of Endoscopic sinus surgeons of Bangladesh. He has 43 publications in different medical journals.

Prior to joining in this institute, Dr. Ahmed Raquib was serving as Associate Professor of ENT in Enam Medical College. He has 10 publications in different National & International Medical Journals. 

He obtained his MBBS in 2010, FCPS in 2020. He is a fellow of International College of surgeons (FICS), USA. He joined in PMCH as registrar in ENT-head neck surgery in February 2022 and also worked for 8 years as assistant registrar of ENT Department in Bangladesh Medical College Hospital. Before joining there he worked as RMO in ENT department at Square Hospitals. He has 29 publications in different national and international journals.

He obtained his MBBS in 1984 and FCPS in 1994. He is serving in the teaching posts in various capacities of different Medical colleges and postgraduate institutions for about 34 years. Prior to joining in this institute, he served as Professor & Head in National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases & Hospital for 12 years, as Associate Professor for 5 years and as Assistant Professor for 3 years in the same institute. In addition to undergraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs, Prof. Beg is actively involved with postgraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs of BCPS and Universities. He has 15 publications in different National Medical Journals.

She obtained her MBBS in 2010 and MD in 2020. She has joined in this institute in 2021. Prior to joining this institute she was serving as anesthesiologist in BIRDEM General Hospital. She has 2 publications in different National Medical Journals.

She obtained her MBBS in 2000, M.Phil in 2004 and FCPS in 2006. She worked in teaching post in different Medical Colleges for last 14 years. Prior to joining in this institute, Dr. Sharmin Akhtar Rupa was serving as Associate Professor (cc) of Radiology & Imaging in Enam Medical College. In addition to undergraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs, she is actively involved with postgraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs of BCPS. She has 14 publications in different National Medical Journals. 

He obtained his MBBS in 1989, MPH in 1997 and MD in 2010. Prior to joining in this institute he was serving as Assisant Professor of Transfusion Medicine in Ad-Din Medical College. In addition to undergraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs, he is actively involved with postgraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs of BSMMU. He has 46 publications in different National & International Medical Journals. He is a member of ISBT, AATM & BTSB.

Prior to joining in this institute Prof. Kohinoor retired from Dhaka Medical College as Prof. & Head of Obs. & Gynae and was serving in Bangladesh Medical College. In addition to undergraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs, she is actively involved with postgraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs of BCPS and Universities. She also served as Dean, Faculty of Medicine. Dhaka University. She is a councillor of Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons and actively involved in various training programs of BCPS. In addition to undergraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs, she is actively involved with postgraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs of BCPS and Universities. She is actively involved in different training program in BCPS. She is a faculty member of Obs & Gynae faculty, medical education and family medicine faculty of BCPS. Prior to joining in this institute, Prof. Shamsun Nahar Lucky retired from Khulna Medical College as Prof. of Obs. & Gynae. In addition to undergraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs, she is actively involved with postgraduate teaching, learning and assessment programs of BCPS and Universities. She has 47 publications in different National and International Medical Journals
