Roles and Responsibilities

  • Abetment to ragging – Encouraging or instigating ragging-related misconduct.

  • Criminal conspiracy to rag – Being involved in or planning criminal activities related to ragging.

  • Unlawful assembly and rioting while ragging – Forming illegal gatherings or engaging in violence during ragging.

  • Public nuisance created during ragging – Creating disturbance or inconvenience to the public during ragging.

  • Violation of decency and morals through ragging – Acts violating modesty, morality, or ethical standards.

  • Wrongful restraint and wrongful confinement – Illegally restraining or detaining someone against their will.

  • Use of criminal force – Applying unlawful force against someone.

  • Criminal intimidation – Threatening or intimidating someone with criminal intent.

  • Extortion – Forcing someone to give money or valuables.

  • Physical or psychological humiliation – Subjecting someone to physical or mental humiliation.

  • Causing hurt or grievous hurt – Inflicting physical injury or serious bodily harm.

  • Assault, sexual offences, or unnatural offences – Any form of physical assault, sexual harassment, or sexual misconduct.

  • Criminal trespass – Unauthorized or illegal entry into someone’s property or premises.
