The Department of Anaesthesiology has devoted academic faculty. They teaches the students about the basics of anaesthesia in lecture classes. They also teaches the students during their placement in anaesthesia. During operations students and trainee doctors are taught the practical aspects associated with anaesthesia.

Message from the Head

The Department of Anaesthesiology is supported by a dedicated and academically driven faculty committed to excellence in teaching and patient care. The department provides comprehensive instruction in the fundamentals of anaesthesia through structured lecture classes. During clinical placements, students receive hands-on training under close supervision, allowing them to understand the practical applications of anaesthetic techniques. In the operating theatre, students and trainee doctors are guided through the practical aspects of anaesthesia, including patient assessment, monitoring, perioperative management, and postoperative care. The department emphasizes patient safety, precision, and teamwork in all its activities.
